FAQ

Where do you ship to?

We ship our botanical creations all across Canada and the United States.

How much is shipping?

We offer complimentary shipping over $250 CDN / $250 USD depending on your region. 

How long are your processing times?

Online orders ship from our shop on Bowen Island within 1-3 days of the order being placed. We make all products in small batches for optimal freshness. Occasionally your order may be delayed a day or two as we are packaging up a new batch of an item. If you have a date that you need the product before please let us know and we will do our best to expedite your parcel if needed.

What shipping carriers do you use?

For Canadian orders, we use FedEx.

For US orders, we use USPS for standard ground shipping, and DHL Express for express shipping. We are located on a small island, so please expect 1-2 business days delay in movement of your parcel once you receive the tracking number. The parcels need to reach the mainland before the carrier scans the parcel, but it is indeed in transit!DHL Express does not ship to PO Boxes. Please select USPS standard ground shipping for PO Boxes to the US.

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your Sangre de Fruta products and we will do what we can to ensure your happiness with every purchase. Due to the nature of our products we do not accept returns. We offer samples or travel size of most products on our website, so you can test the products before purchasing the full size item. We will offer a replacement or a shop credit in certain circumstances. Please email orders@sangredefruta.com with any concerns about your purchase.

What do I do if my parcel gets lost?

If your parcel has been lost during shipping, please reach out to us at orders@sangredefruta.com. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.

What is the shelf life of your product?

Our products have a range of a 12 months to 2 years shelf life. Items will have a figure on the label indicating when it should be used by after opening.

Our packaging is designed to keep light from reaching the precious ingredients however we still advise storing them in a room temperature environment, out of direct sunlight.

What material is your packaging made from?

For shower and bath safety we use industrial strength, recyclable, plastic bottles for our 500ml and 50ml shower collection items. They can be refilled (launching 2021) with our recyclable spout pouches.

Our Botanical Bath Salts are packaged in paper envelopes, with a compostable plastic liner.

All remaining items in our collection are bottled in Miron bipohotonic violetglass. This glass has the unique ability to filter out damaging light rays while allowing in infared light waves that seem to energize the molecules of the products stored within. This helps to naturally enhance and preserve the bioenergy of our products.

Are your products 100% pure?

We create premium products; the highest possible quality body care products on the market. All of our products are 100% pure with absolutely no fillers, diluting oils, synthetic fragrances, or unnatural components of any kind.

Where are your ingredients sourced from?

We source our ingredients from all over the globe.  From Belgium to Salt Spring Island (British Columbia) we choose regions that produce the highest quality ingredients.

Are all of your products vegan?

All of our products are vegan, with the exception of our body cream, which does contain beeswax.

Are your products safe for use in pregnancy?

Congratulations! We are unfortunately not legally able to advise you regarding product use in pregnancy. We are committed to using clean, healing ingredients in everything we make and have a detailed ingredients list for all of our products on our website. We recommend taking this list to your midwife or doctor for assurance.
