Spring Scent Salon - May 9, 2026

Join us for a special Spring Scent Salon on May 9 from 1–4pm at Sangre de Fruta on Bowen Island, an afternoon of scent, ritual, and seasonal connection in honour of Mother’s Day. Guided by founder Allison Audrey Weldon and the Sangre de Fruta team, guests will be introduced to the art of natural perfumery and invited to create their own personalized botanical roll-on. Rooted in the energy of spring, this experience is a celebration of renewal, beauty, and intention—an opportunity to slow down, learn, and connect through the language of plants.

Throughout the afternoon, guests will also experience a special offering by Mimi Young: occultist and predictions consultant, and the founder of Ceremonie, whose Magick of Tea sittings draw on the gong fu cha tradition. Tea is prepared with care and precision—through water, leaf, temperature, and sequence—shaping a sensory experience that invites presence and reflection. Guests will choose from two exceptional teas sourced directly from Mimi’s recent travels to Taiwan: a competition-winning high mountain oolong from Mt. Alishan, or an aged, roasted twig tea from Mt. Lishan, with a caffeine-free herbal tisane also available. A tea tasting wheel will guide exploration of flavour and aroma, while each sitting includes a brief personal reading rooted in Chinese metaphysics—offering insight that is clear, affirming, and practical.
