Smoked Rosemary Old Fashioned

Smoked Rosemary Old Fashioned

1 minute read

A smoky twist on a holiday favorite—our rosemary-infused cocktail ignites the senses with every sip, where herbaceous warmth mingles with delicate citrus and a lingering whisper of smoke. Equal parts festive and refined, it’s the kind of drink that lingers in memory long after the glass is empty.

Ingredients

2 oz. bourbon or rye

1 oz. rosemary simple syrup

1 fresh rosemary sprig

3 dashes Angostura bitters

1 large ice cube

Instructions

Light the rosemary sprig and place it under an overturned glass to fill it with smoke. Let it sit while you prepare the drink. In a mixing glass, combine the syrup with bitters, then add bourbon and ice. Stir until chilled. Turn over the smoked glass, strain the cocktail in, and garnish with the smoked rosemary sprig and orange peel.

For a mocktail version, sub the bourbon for seltzer water

Enjoy!
