Position Title: ACCOUNTS & PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER
Reports to: CEO
Job Location: Hybrid work arrangement (Home / Bowen Island)
Salary: $35-40 an hour / part time, 20-25 hours a week
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the CEO, the Accounts & Partnerships Manager is responsible for championing and executing Sangre de Fruta’s sales and partnership strategy. A key member of the company’s senior leadership team, the manager is responsible for identifying and nurturing business opportunities and accounts, perpetually finding unique ways to engage and increase culturally- aligned clients and collaborations.
ABOUT SANGRE DE FRUTA BOTANICAL
Founded by Allison Audrey Weldon, Sangre de Fruta Botanical makes artisanal skin and hair care for the senses. Using plant-based products, Sangre de Fruta produces exquisite botanicals through thoughtfully sourced and handcrafted products. Based on Bowen Island, BC this opportunity involves working out of the head office on Bowen Island at times as well as remote.
Sangre de Fruta has partners across North America and includes stores, hotels & spas. The accounts and partners include stockists such as Goop, Moda Operandi, Erewhon, and hospitality properties such as Shangri la Hotel Vancouver, Sunset Tower Hotel, Nimmo Bay Resort, The Vancouver Club and spas such as Chi the Spa, The Spa at Wickaninnish Inn and Formula Fig.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy
- Work with the CEO to design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and maintains its brand positioning and increase its presence in the market
- Inform sales strategy and approach through regular analysis of sales performance, market trends and opportunities
- Research and actively pursue business opportunities that are in cultural alignment and enhance Company brand and goodwill
- With the CEO set and achieve annual and quarterly growth and sales targets
- Be a brand ambassador, reflecting the company’s values at all times
- Prepare sales budgets and projections
Account Management + Stewardship
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Manage existing accounts, fostering relationship and creating sales opportunities
- Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
- Manage strategic partnerships, liaising with Production Manager
- Manage overdue hospital and wholesale accounts in all regions
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Communications, Business Administration, or Marketing etc.
- 5-7 years of recent related experience, including a proven track record in sales and account management
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and steward new business and sales accounts
- Experience in and knowledge of the beauty, luxury and hospitality industry
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify trends, establish benchmarks, and provide credible analyses and business recommendations
- Strong organisational and time management skills with an attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to professionally connect with and influence a diverse group of individuals
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and work with diverse individuals to identify issues, design solutions, and evaluate results
