Position Title: COMMUNICATIONS AND ACCOUNTS LEAD
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Location: 563 Artisan Lane, Bowen Island
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4-5 days a week.
Wage: $50,000 - $58,000 (37.5 hours per week)
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Communication & Accounts Lead is responsible for communicating with Sangre de Fruta’s various wholesale accounts and partners, building relationships and supporting the clients as well as working with the internal studio team to process orders efficiently.

Founded by Allison Audrey Weldon, Sangre de Fruta Botanical makes artisanal skin and hair care for the senses. Using plant-based products, Sangre de Fruta produces exquisite botanicals through thoughtfully sourced and handcrafted products. Based on Bowen Island, BC this opportunity involves working out of the head office on Bowen Island at times as well as remote.
Sangre de Fruta has partners across North America and includes stores, hotels & spas. The accounts and partners include stockists such as Goop, Moda Operandi, Erewhon, and hospitality properties such as Shangri la Hotel Vancouver, Chelsea Hotel NYC, Sunset Tower Hotel, Nimmo Bay Resort, and spas such as Chi the Spa, The Spa at Wickaninnish Inn and Formula Fig.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Communication
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Sales Consultants to implement the strategic sales plan to grow the wholesale business
- Work with the marketing team to amplify brand and product exposure to wholesale accounts
- Champion all communications with wholesale and DTC accounts, ensuring a high level of professionalism and responsiveness
Wholesale Portal Support
- Support customers with onboarding and ongoing use of the Shopify B2B wholesale portal
- Provide troubleshooting and guidance for wholesale portal inquiries
- Proactively check in with customers to ensure they feel confident using the platform and receive any assistance needed
Account Management
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing wholesale partners
- Identify opportunities for sales growth within current accounts
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries or concerns efficiently and thoughtfully
Order Processing & Shipping
- Work closely with the studio team to prioritize and process orders
- Support inventory management efforts to ensure accuracy and availability
- Assist with packing and shipping as needed to ensure timely fulfillment
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- High school diploma, supported by ongoing professional development, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum 3-5 years of recent related experience
- Excellent communicators and attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal records check
- Ability to lift or move boxes up to 50 LBS
